Promotion, business ownership, a return to public-facing work or entry into a different market can expose a gap between your responsibilities and your presentation. We begin with the situations you face: client meetings, board conversations, presentations, travel and informal professional settings. The point is to understand the expectation in each setting and decide how you want to meet it.
A professional wardrobe needs a job to do.
We consider which pieces earn their place in your actual week. Fit, proportion, formality, combinations and maintenance matter because you need to use the wardrobe repeatedly. An executive wardrobe can include tailoring, soft tailoring, shirts, knitwear and more relaxed pieces where appropriate. The right balance depends on your industry and context; a single dress formula cannot answer every professional situation.

Clothing is one visible part of professional presence. We also discuss preparation, posture, attention, personal care and the consistency between what you say and how you represent yourself. These are practical subjects, not promises of a promotion or commercial result. The European System provides a framework for identifying which areas deserve attention in your individual context.
A private consultation with a defined outcome.
Private Image Strategy costs EUR550, VAT included. It includes discovery and preparation, a consultation of up to three hours where required, and a personal Strategy Summary delivered within five business days after the session. The summary organises priorities for image direction, proportion and wardrobe, with immediate and longer-term actions. Clothing purchases and ongoing support are separate decisions.

Bring examples of your working week and the occasions that create uncertainty. Photographs of existing outfits can make the discussion more specific. We distinguish what you can use now, what needs adjusting and what may need replacing. The aim is to create a sequence you can implement. If continuity is appropriate, The European Wardrobe offers defined clothing allocations and scheduled private support over an agreed period.
Individual support or a programme for the organisation?
This page concerns private work with an individual. If you are commissioning support for a leadership team, client-facing staff or colleagues across locations, explore Corporate. Group workshops and advisory engagements start with a business brief and have a separate scope and price. The Academy serves professionals developing image-consulting and menswear businesses; it is a different path from a personal wardrobe consultation.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to wear a suit every day?
No. Recommendations start with your role, audience and working environment. Formal tailoring and relaxed professional clothing may both have a place.
Is online image consulting available?
Yes. Private Image Strategy is available online as well as at the Maison in Porto. Any physical garment service is agreed separately.
Does this replace media or public-speaking training?
No. The consultation focuses on personal image, presence and wardrobe priorities. Specialist communication training requires its own agreed scope.
Can my company book a workshop instead?
Yes. Corporate workshops and leadership advisory are separate services, with formats in Porto, online and internationally by proposal.
